Major Adams Community Committee will be working with 40 – 60 youth in the Lawndale area organizing youth through recreational, dance, music and marching activities.  Youth will participate in a number of workshops promoting peace.  The program will culminate on August 25th at the picnic with a parade through the neighborhood ending at Union Park.  The youth taking dance, music and marching lessons will perform in the parade.  The youth participating in sports and recreation will play in a tournament at Union Park during the picnic.
